We’re very excited to announce a wonderful programme of
inspirational music, talks and workshops for our 2018 festival,
led by our Artistic Director, Lucy Parham.
From the youthful exuberance of Young Musician of the Year

pianist John Lill and broadcaster and author John Suchet,
there’s something for everyone next spring.

Highlights include:

John Lill and John Suchet in an evening discovering Beethoven’s life and music
Sarah Walker talks with Edward Fox about his musical loves
Lucy Parham and Henry Goodman bring Rachmaninov to life in drama and music
Jess Gillam, saxophonist Young Musician of the Year finalist
O Duo percussion group – exciting, entertaining and plenty of audience participation

Our Gala Festival Concert will feature
the Surrey Mozart Players, Guildford Chamber Choir and Occam Singers.

Jazz Saturday
Jazz is a key theme of the festival, with Jazz Saturday featuring the lively George Abbot Big Band, and a jazz singing workshop with Pete Churchill, where singers can perform alongside his quartet in the evening.

Venue and ticket sales

We have a brand new concert venue – Holy Trinity Church on the High Street in the middle of Guildford.
With its wonderful acoustics and easy access, it’s the perfect venue for all our events.
Tickets for the Festival will be on sale from November 7th (October 24th for Friends of the Festival)
from the Guildford Tourist Information Centre.
